Fisheries in India is a very important economic activity and a flourishing sector with varied resources and potentials. India is one of the leading countries that produces fish through aquaculture and is home to more than 10 percent of the global fish diversity. Presently, India ranks second in the world, after China, in annual fish production -- which is about 9.06 million metric tonnes per annum. Tufropes recently participated in the Aquaculture Farmers Meets along with our esteemed Channel Partner Penupotula Suryanarayanarao & Sons. These meets were held in Bhimavaram, Amalapuram and Kakinada. We had on display our HDPE Fish Nets, Shade Nets and Bird Protection Nets. The event was a big success and we were delighted to welcome such a diverse group of Aquaculture Farmers into the Tufropes family. Great job Maheswara Rao.
